Piano

Austin and Zac take piano lesson and they are doing so good. Zac loves to make up ending to his songs. The only way I figured this out was the end of his songs keep changing (the new endings are in tune.) One day I asked why the endings keep changing and he told me he likes to make up new endings.

Potty Training!

Today Addison took off her diaper and told me it was stinky. I asked her if she wanted to sit on the potty, she said "yes!" She then went into the bathroom and went potty. I was so excited so i put her pony panies on, but an hour later she was all wet. I think we are getting closer to being potty trained. I bought her some M&M's so when ever she does go potty she can have some. Addison LOVES chocolate, so I know the bribe will work.

April Fools

This is what we ate for dinner on April Fools. I told the kids they could eat dessert first, (the cupcakes) and then dinner (the funny looking meat with mashed potatoes. They thought that it was cool that they got to eat dessert first. Austin took a bite a of the frosting and said that it tasted like mashed potatoes. We then told them april fools. The cupcakes where really meat with whipped mashed potatoes on top. The funny looking meat was a brownie and the mashed potatoes and gravy was vanilla icecream with carmel sauce. The kids where happy when i told them the funny looking meat was a brownie, they said they thought it looked burnt.

Birds

Kiley was excited to tell me that she can hear the birds again. Most of the snow is gone, and it is getting a little warmer. Addison and toby love to go outside and play. Toby loves to sit in the sun to get warm. Hope everyone has a good day!

Presidents Day

On monday the kids went out to play in the backyard. I bundled them up from there heads to there toes. I went out side with them to hurry and grab something in just a t-shirt, and it was so dang warm. This makes me want spring to come just that much sooner.

So for presidents day we went to lunch and then took them to a movie. The movie was only .50 a person that is so dang cheap. My kids love to go to the movies. I also needed to run to sams club and all of my kids started to groan, until I told Austin that he could look for an I-pod. It is so funny how he changed his attitude and got all of the other kids to do the same.

Don't break the ice

Jared, Jon, Jason, Austin and Zac, went on a boys day out. They went down to Yuba Lake and went ice fisred said they walked out on to the lake a little ways and drilled a couple of holes to fish out of. He said the ice was at least 12" deep. They caught a total of 8 fish. When ever Jared or Jon caught a fish, they would let the boys reel them in. Austin and Zac thaught that is was really cool to reel the fish in. They all came back with a little bit of a sunburn on there face. Jared said that it was a really nice day for fishing & they all had a lot of FUN.

My Little Addi Bug

More pictures of addison. She loves shoes just like kiley. Her new thing is to find the older kids socks and put them one, but she puts one 3 or 4 pairs at a time. She is famous for finding my make-up and putting it on. She was so proud of her self and the good job that she did at putting on my eyeshadow on her face. I will be doing her hair in the morining and she will sneak my make-up and start applying it. Yesterday she was putting on mascara for lipstick. Gotta love it!
